Alternators
« on: February 24, 2006, 18:45:24 »
Having got me spots and an idea of what else needs to go on I've realised that I have no idea what the output of the stock Vitara alternator is.

So, does anyone know. Its a 1.6JLX Carb, looks pretty puny, then again so does the battery. Has anoyne changed the battery for something larger and same goes for the Alternator. Anyone suggesta donor veichle for an alternator?
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

No one answered so I found out meself :)

55Amp Standard Alt so I have plenty of headroom for the spots.

Not sure about the starter though.
