I found out today that all my electric windows go up and down with our the key even in the ignition. is this right?
Rover 620i 223,000 miles on the clock :)

Most expensive item for a Disco is????? a round piece of paper stuck on the windscreen!

mine dont do that, its probably been rewired directly from a battery feed or something bypassing the ignition.

Mine needs the keys in and on first click to opperate the windows.

my 300 will operate the windows once the key is out but only for one movement within 30 secs i think it is, so you can take the key out and wind the window up

wonder why mine needs nothing then. coz when i first found it the key was on 1st click n the window went up a bit then stopped. I had to then put ignition on to put it up the rest then took key out n tried it n it went up n down a few times
