At least the 3 of you are okay, if shook up

At the end of it, the Mondeo's just metal.

From what I've seen the back of modeos are plastic and foam, somewhere behind that there is a rumour of metal :)

It's good that you are all OK, and as for the Mondeo - who cares, his insurance can make it all shiny again

glad you 3 are ok.

Better the metal on the car than on you.

i think this is the reason

people panic when they seen sunshine or spray on the roads, or they see the speed limit signs flashing

they instantly forget commonsense and hit the brakes or look down and check the radio for traffic news

next minute oops

ah well never mind its a company car anyway

not a good attitude is it!

If it was the landy he went into the back of I bet his car would be alot worse off and the landy would prob have a half inch scratch on it!!!

Get a tow bar on the back of the Mondeo. That will teach anyone else who has a go.

That's what I was thinking.

And I agree with above, at the end of the day a car is a car, it's an inanimate piece of plastic and foam (;)) that can be replaced, your kid cannot.

And look on the brightside, it's got a Mondeo off the road, that's always a good thing

I'm glad you are all ok, that's the main thing.  Must say it's a p***er when you look after you car and some t**t comes along and trashes it.  I'd had the Micra 4 months when some t*t ran into it, it was valued at 4 grand less than I'd paid, had they not had to get me a new car it would have been a wright-off.

When I ring around for insurance quotes, "any accident or convictions?"

"oh yes"

I've had 4 in the last 3 years, none my fault but until they are settled they count against you.

Echoing the other posts - glad you are okay.

I was so angry this morning, a couple of flakes of the white stuff and the drivers round here (Dudley/Brum) panic - they drive even worse than usual, and that's saying something.

I used to live up by the edge of Dartmoor, and I've lived in Cumbria.  Honestly, I think the chav's round here would die of heart attacks if they had to drive in 'real' snow.

(Sends silent prayer for lots n lots of the white stuff - it may get rid of a few of the idiots ...  and another prayer to ask that they don't take anybody with them)

Anyway there has to be more than one Jethro Tull fan on the forum (yep, me too)  Watch out or I will start quoting verses too!
