:D has anyone fitted a fan stat to a range rover radiator in the top where the filler plug goes and if so what type or what is the thread size
think its bsp dut not sure
want to fit electric fan to rr
love's mud and lpg and the wife

Wizard sell one suitable for what you want, or I used one from Merlin Motorsport.  You can adjust the switch-on temp by moving the probe accross the radiator fromthe hot side tot he cold (it clips between the vanes, ie it's a dry fit).

One some cars you can also find a switch fitted tot eh thermostat elbow, our first engine had one (may be a SD1 part).

All Classic Range Rovers with Air Con have a temperature sensor fitted to the thermostat housing. The sensor swiches the twin AC fans in front of the rad.
