My 'new' 90"
« on: March 06, 2006, 20:41:16 »
After selling my 110, have been looking for a 90"....

And bought this yesterday  :D
(seem to have a thing for blue Land Rovers!!)

Needs a few things doing....service, cambelt etc.  And I need to fit my steering guard and diff guards and MT's.

Most important thing at the moment is to clean the inside....
Was an ex-farm truck, and I think half of the farm came with it!!!!

Just need to have it ready for the 18th!!!!

The 90 is now progressing....

Just doing the cambelt this weekend (along with a few other bits).

Now fitted with:

Genuine Boost Alloys and Khumo MT's (235x85x16's)
New type Defender Fog and Reverse lamps
TD5 headlight surrounds
QT front and rear diff guards
Southdown steering guard
Front and rear JATE rings
An EXCELLENT 'genuine' X-Eng Handbrake
(and a new interior!!)

Looks quite a bit better IMO  :D
(though still need to paint the windscreen hinges)

Is warmer and offers better vision - no blind spots.

Not quite as pratical at times.... but overall I like it.

In saying that... my 'road' 90 will be a van sided jobbie once I've finished building it!!!
