Any body know the size of thread needed to hold on the Slider diff guards  that affix to the bottom of the diff just behind the prop?

i too believe its 3/8unf as i had to clean out the threads on gords diff when i changed it so we could refit his guard

Yes it is 3/8" unf.  Been told there should be bolts already in place to take Slider diff guard but not at home to be able to check.

Anybody know if they should already be inplace back and front?

The ones on the front are there because they hold something else on. The ones on the back you will find empty holes (except for years of crap.) :lol:

Been cleaning the rears out this evening, winding bolt in 1 turn back half a turn  after 10 take it out clean muck out, spray with WD40.

As you can imagine i did not keep that up for long, just waited for the tread to get tight then backed off :lol:  :lol:

But they are nice and clear now ready for tomorrow nights work.
