Axle breather washers
« on: May 19, 2004, 18:42:17 »
HI All,

Does anyone have a source for the washers used on axle breathers?
Everywhere I've asked, they have said they can only be bought in the breather kits. I've found some normal copper washers but these squash up and make the seal on the top of the axle.
I want to avoid anything getting into the axle (obviously)

Ed,

We are only 10 miles away from the Doncaster store next weekend,
Might be worth poping in and having a look round

Nice one Karlos not sure if Ed will get his washers but it looks like
I might be getting some new air tools  :D

If you go into the store in Huddersfield, ask to see Andrew and drop my name you might well get a discount. 8)

Thanks Karloss,
I'll look in there when we're in the area unless anyone knows of any other supplier.
They are similar to the washers used in a Devilbiss spraygun JG? only obviously smaller.

Are they copper or fibre washers, let have a pic  & measurements, & I'll have a look round down the road, and in my bits & bobs
