MIL NEW MOTOR

Now then,

On my list would be;

New Mini Cooper (S), cheap compared to some "sports" cars and fantastic residual values, if you use the H.P. arrangements with balloon option you can sell after one year and even make a profit!!

Skoda Octavia VRS, what can I say. Fantastic car. I run a Superb 1.9 elegance myself and can vouch for the build quality.

Finally Golf GTi or Audi TT. Super chassis and back on form after a few years of boredom.

My father has an RX8, bit fussy.

Merc CLK? Really poor dealer service. Friend recently bought a CLK and went to Germany to pick it up. Did the factory tour then was shown his new car - totally wrong model! OOPPS

Not a lover of these, did you know it's got the same wheel-base as the original Range Rover (100"). Not really a Mini is it??

Well we've got a Fabia, have tested a Fabia vRS& like it.
A while  ago (before Superb was announced) they produced a concept car.
The Tudor, essentially a two-door Superb, it looked superb (no pun intended)

They've been to look at MazdaMX-5 & up to the 'Old Star Garage' at Collingham today & have seen a MGB -GT & a (re-shelled) '72 Midget.

Now if that was in production it'd be short listed

Now the Tudor I like.

No good for us though. Our Superb is used as a chauffeur drive car. Massive rear legroom, leather everywhere and power everything. A8 quality at Mondeo money. Skoda all the way for me. Even my customers (mainly H.M. Government!) like it.

The Mini is a cracking little car. Handles so well, it just keeps turning in!

Saabs 92 is due soon isn't it? Same size as a Subaru and lots quicker. Still a G.M. though.

I'll think on.
