Did anyone watch Scrap Heap Challenge today.

Very Interesting!!

Its a repeat Ive seen it before.  The rangie could have done it with one engine, but I think they had to do something rather than just sit around drinking tea and eating the bikkies on the build day :)

The second engine comes in handy for the later projects and you'll find out in the coming weeks  :wink:

Scrap Heap has banned 'standard' 4 wheel drive (eg using a transfer box), its in the rules, thats why the two engines in the rangie.

Otherwise a lot of their challenges would be won by unmodified Landies :lol:

I've always thought that "I'd just enter a 109 truck, it'll go anywhere and can can bolt anything onto the back as each challenge arises".  But now i realise there are rules that explains why it hasnt been done before.

I met Andy from the Chaos Crew last night, picked a wheel up from him for a mate, seemed a really nice bloke, has a series111 and disco in his drive.
