A45 speed cameras

Does anybody know if the two speed cameras on the a45  near the ryton roundabout- one facing to brum and the other on the side of the road facing the roundabout are actually active ( we're not talking about the ones on the rugby side of the a45).
We were talking about them today and we reckon they could be dummies - they are both situated on the central reservation but the lenses are always really dirty with road grime- anybody any ideas?

there are numerous websites who actually hold the information you are looking for

not to mention a yahoo egroup dedicated to "mentioning" the location of the cameras..

i cant remember the egroup title but do a search on the yahoo groups and you should find them (i think google look after them now i think?)
