what a good start to the day
« on: March 26, 2006, 10:20:19 »
Well got up at silly o'clock this morning to go and pick up a gear box for my bros disco and then i over heated on the m25, so i had a quick look under the bonet (eventually once i got the bloomin thing open) not leaking any where and the water levels are fine. Having let it cool down for half an hour or so i made my way home and it did it again so stopped again, this time the higways agency patroll kept me company! they even said they would swap there D3 for my defender! so ive now made it home and i am hoping it is the thermostat at fault! Im fairly sure its not the head gasget as i cant see any water in my oil and such like!
oh and we got the gear box too the guy met us just off the motor way (crickey it is heavey)
Regards James

Oh dear not a brilliant start.

Nice of the highway agency to keep you company any way!!! Did you take them up on their offer of a swap?

Blimey, I'd have broke his fingers grabbing the keys off him.
Cheers.
