New concept for off-roaders
« on: June 06, 2004, 10:48:00 »
Duncan has developed a new concept for off-roading, a more technical approach is required unlike driving Land Rovers, where a point and go attitude isn't always rewarded, as you will see from the pictures below.  :o

A stupid grin is part of the requirements of participation.

Hi Dave,

That one only goes at a fast walking pace, but it's quite scary on an incline and yes, I nearly did roll it, it's about as stable as a one wheeled Land Rover with a 2" lift.

Dont think I would try it without seatbelt and roll cage :D

Couldnt see any winch/tow points either. Are these to be added later??
If I could only find some mud to play in, I would be as happy as the preverbial pig!!!

That view is quite spectacular, better still if you're actually there, the whole island has views like that.

Duncan does run a B&B, if you fancy a few days up there on the Isle of Skye.

HI Frank,

Skye?

That would account for the views. I'll just dream on. I'd feel drawn to driving the hills....

Hi Kev,

I'll have to bear that in mind if they stop me driving again. Paul had to pull his feet in pretty quickly. Twin engines. Hi/Lo box Single seater, Land Rover badged. What can I say. Sheer adreniline rush!!!
