Went into a well known store+fuel chain, just as I come out some two-tone chavmobile (Mk 1 Corsa) gets out and SMACK slams his door into the side of the Vit.

When I challenged him the little hoodie wearing scrote says 'You've got enough scratched and crap on the side already, I didnt think you would notice another'

I just took a deep breath and walked away, otherwise I was about to do the world a favour.

Someone did something similiar to Big Blue.  Andy had parked in 'his' space when he was learning to be a driving instructor, whilst he was out on his lesson.  He got back to the carpark where he'd left blue, and was doing the debrief with the instructor.  This guy pulls into the carpark in a grotty cavalier, parks RIGHT next to blue, and slams his door open.....straight into a rockslider.  The dint in his door would've made a panel beater proud.

The moral of the story, fit rocksliders or treesliders.

Personally, I would've got the wheelclamp out of the boot and clamped him.  That would've really stumped him, as none of the store keys would have fitted our clamp.  I would have then come back at my own convenience.  But I much prefer the rocksliders.....people will only tangle with them once!

think you will struggle to clain, as its a supermarket carpark, therefore private land..

i would have removed his number plates, or just turned em round... let the local law officers check his car over when they see him driving past without a plate!  :lol:

i would also return the favour... note, your doors are higher, and therfore the corner (stronger poart of door) tends to line up with the softer parts of your oponants door....... :twisted:

failing that, remove the stihl saw from the boot and cut the f :shock: er in half!  :lol:

Apparently, if you have a hydraulic winch, and steel winch rope, you can cut a car in half.  But I like the idea of opening your door with some force (right into his window).
Pity they normally have CCTV in carparks now, you could've done a lot of damage.

I think the law was changed a few years ago as to what defines private land. I know it is illigal to ride a motorcycle without a helmet anywhere that the public has access to as is letting an uninsured person drive a car. A couple of people have been done near us for letting uninsured drivers use therir car around a tescos carpark. The rule also applies to the "paying public" such as at bike rallies. Thinking about it the pay n play sites that allow non legal and uninsured cars on are probably breaking the law unless they have their own insurance.

As said above in previous reply......Rock/Tree sliders are a god send when it comes to supermarket car parks. Mine stick out @1" further than my arches do, people who open their car doors carelessly soon wake up when they suddenly come into contact with pretty tuff steel, instead of the fairly soft paintwork on a door.

Grrrr, I think that I would've 'accidentally' taken out their tail lights upon leaving, using the excuse of, "It's only an old heap - didn't think you'd mind!"

i can vote for rock sliders side steps as the ones on my car have caught out a few "carless" people :D
