Can anyone please advise a source of weight rated shackles for strops and ropes etc in Shropshire?

I got mine from the local farm/tractor supplies outlet, cheap but strong enough to tackle industrial/farm type of work, so no problems with the weight of a landy etc.

Thorburns ltd, you must have some similar outlet in your area. The other option would be mail order from paddocks or craddocks.

I went to my local chandlery the other day to get some stainless screws.  The shackles were £3.25 for a biggun!

D44 sell rated shackles from around £1.50 for a 2T to around a fiver for a 6T one ...

not that it answers the question much, since they're not in shropshire, but thought it might be usefull for comparison

How many shackles you after ?, i can get them of a pal, they have 4.75ton stamped on them, also get strop's, next to nothing cost's :lol: ,

Try BearingMan, lots of them in Shropshire.
