Use a LITTLE bit of oil (eg 3in1 or ATF), don't fill the barrel. Dip the key in the oil as well, then, put the key in and out loads of times to get the oil around the barrel. Wiggle the key whilst turning it, should get it working.
Your dealer should be able to get it quicker than that - they should be able to VOR (vehicle off road) order parts for the next day, but will be reluctant to as they will lose margin on it. Most will only VOR stuff for their own use.If you do a lot of business with them or get your car regularly serviced with them then it might be worth a word. Or get them to do it and see whether they can do it faster.
MAKE SURE YOU GET NEW SHEAR BOLTS WITH THE NEW ONE,you wont be able to use the original key as a new one is supplied with the new lock etc..........good luck
