Warn 8274's are the daddy of winches

V8s sound nice but are readilly humped by diesels

Tdis are a straight swap for any diesel engine in a defender bar the td5 engine

auto box's rule for offroad driving

35's look better than 33's

simex's WILL break your transmission eventually

36's WILL fit a disco with just a suspension lift

200 & 300 TDis run tickety boo on VO

sythetic winch rope is better than steel

landrover handbrakes were designed to be crap

police red/white springs lift a 90 just nice & give plenty flex

Freewheeling hubs are ace.

Oil should be used in swivels - not grease.

There is ALWAYS at least 4 pens in your vehicle, until you actually need one.

then there are two pens, one which has dried up, the other which has leeked!

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong

No oil leek = No oil left!

Don't know about some of the above :? but the Rangie is the ONLY auto I like driving (helped by being a LR product anyway).

And 'enders is better than corrie, that's like saying dog s**t tastes better than coal, who cares.  The ONLY redeeming feature of any soap opera is the 90 in the opening sequence to emerdale.
