Hi Guys
Just had our caravan stolen off our drive last night.
So if you hear of anyone offering a smart 4 Berth 530se Swift challenger for a bargain price beware.
Now off to collect the claim form fron the NFU and start going through everything that was in as it was fully loaded to go away today.
Cheers
Sue

where was it stolen from? i dont know where you live you see
also do you have pictures of it so people can see if they can spot it (also any distinguishing features that would make it stick out?

Theres some sad people out there
, steal someones property not thinking of the heartache/disruption/knock-on effects it causes.
We're having to install night-cameras due to some twazzock stealing our heating/machinery fuel.
Would be nice to catch someone in the act.......  give them a taste of BASIL the bat, then get the missus to black my eye..... "It was self defence officer".

We have cctv at work looking over the yard. Saw someone trying to climb the gates one night and they duly fell off them, and rather hurt themselves by the look of it. Oh how we laughed the next day when we watched it.
Bad news about the caravan. Best probably to watch ebay.

 thats awful, some theiving leper ruined your easter weekend too i guess. hope you get some info and find the lil scrotes.
i know its not funny but you have to chuckle in a way at theives stealing security systems.. kinda proves they werent worth stealing!
was a spate of guard dogs goin missing in an area not far from us..
...charming, some sod pinches yer guard dog!
anyway, hope all goes well, and you get sorted, will keep eyes peeled, but given the nature of the bank holiday weekend, theres plenty out and about!

Although we try to be fairly optomistic, the chances of it being found are very slim, as it appears they are basically stolen to order these days. it does open your eyes and make you think about the general security surrounding your property though.
We will just have to barter witht he insurers loss adjuster when they come out next week to get the maximum amount of money back so we can replace it.
Thanks for all your good wishes.

We are insure through the NFU and ahve been for numerous years and when we had ro claim a couple of yrs ago after a car accident they were brilliant.
There loss adjuster has already made an appointment for next week so that will get the ball rolling and we have been composing the list of what was in it which was basically everything you take away with you.
Thanks for your suport.

no matter what you do if they want it they'll get it!we (mum & dad) had ours broken into 4 times in two weeks.we have a camera facing the front of the caravan, one facing the back of the caravan.one on the drive and one going up the side of the house.we have security lights fitted that come on when someone walks past and they chime inside the house.these are quite cheap from b&q.reccomend them!they can be annoying when a cat sets it off but we've since caught 3 people on our land trying to get the caravan abd my scooter when i had it!it's kind of a small consilation, the look on their face when they turn round to be greeted by a snarrling dog and two of you with bats!
ain't it annoying tho,all the personal possetions gone to be sold for next to nothing!and worst of all the police won't give a ****!

JAWS....That last bit is sadly very true
Unless you hand the POLICE the culprits in person, they dont seem interested. Too busy trying to catch speeding motorists/taking care of football hooligans/dealing with drunks etc.......The days of good old fashioned detective work are gone.... Unless you get national TV coverage of course.
Yes before you say it......I know the police are working hard...... And there aint enough of them.

Cheers mate for your support, however the chances of it still being in our neck of wilts/glos are beyond slim.
Very gutting and especially hard for the kids as they had been looking forward to going away all school hols. We knew it had got to the kids when our lad went for his horse riding lesson today and the sly so and so of a pony he rides regularly chucked him off because he was not fully with it.
The insurers loss adjusters have made an appointment for next week so it goes from there.
thanks for your support.
