Day out on the beach
« on: April 23, 2006, 21:23:24 »
Went to Rhyl today with the family.

The weather was nippy to start with, but the temperature got up to 23C for a little while in the afternoon.

Whilst walking on the beach I noticed a female standing out by the surf looking out to sea. She hadn't noticed that she was on a sandbar and that the sea was coming in behind her. She eventually turned away from the water and made her way back up the beach and found herself cut off.

After a couple of minutes to think about it, she eventually got her feet wet.

I spent a lot of time over a 2 year period at Llandudno nearly 20 years ago and I have fond memories.

I went to the beach at Newborough on Anglesey about 4 weeks ago. Not many people there and no commercial establishments for miles around.

Looking at Ynys Llanddwyn

Looking over at the Lleyn Peninsula

Nice and quiet

My eldest two having fun

I dont like Rhyl ( sorry if you live there) we prefer less comercilised places, usually go to the Lynn preninsular, well worth the extra drive
Remember it will come in handy even if you never use it

I try and keep away from Rhyl as much as possible. Had to go there back in April as my second eldest was doing a ballet show at the Theatre. Went for a walk instead of going in, SWMBO had the honour of watching the show
