i had it peroxided first

then painted the blue on, and been told not to wash my hair for 4 days for the dye to stick!

the hairdresser sneakily gave me a little bit of the dye for when it fades as you cant get a conditioner to extend the colour :(

I didn't do that bit (can't stand to go more than 24 hours without washing my hair) and mine had all turned green within 2 days.

Still looked good though

i might go to bright red next time but i might get red tramlines going around my scalp as well as the mohican

depends on what can be done and how long it takes

what i had done now took 90 mins, the red one before 120 mins

but i got seriously pampered! ;)

I have a pink mohican in reverse   Sometimes I change it to bright red but I find it makes my scalp sore, so I then have it tan and it looks quite good.

The only trouble is if I want it any other colour I'd have to paint my wide parting

heheh

what a dangerous thing is vanity eh!

im going to let it grow a bit before i re-colour, possibly purple or green, depends on if i spot someone with the colour already in their hair..

i was in the comedy store in manchester last saturday and got severely stared at by both the women and men in the club (i let it go bright orange by this point)

thing is whilst women are busy staring at my hair, i can stare elsewhere without being caught

It is lovely.  Maybe you didn't want to hear that!!!!

Nothing like a really good shade of blue.   :D

There is a garage round here with the best electric blue colour sign.  Mention Colin Blower, and everyone knows the colour.

Have seen a really good leopard skin one done before - now that would get some response!

Reminds me of my mispent youth being photo'ed in london by mad japanese tourists   at one point mine was about 20ish inch's long. And as for colours dont even go there,my fave was post box RED.Oh how my mum used to moan about me super gluing my hair. And now im finding out she was right
But if you want multi coloured hair use petroleum gel after the 1st colour and it will keep the 2nd colour of off the 1st
But nice one bud god to see someone is still "sticking it to the man"
yer better not naff this up an come back to these shores or god help me yer auld aunt nelly will jump out of her grave an like as not kick yer teeth in......

before i had it cut it was prob about 4-6 inches high but the gunk i used to keep it standing up, was fine for the first couple of hours but over time and windy days it would fall forward again

its a bit too short at the moment but when its grown to a proper length i will re-colour to blue

since i have the hair next to it pushed up with it it looks like ive half coloured it but where its blue, its blue to the roots.

i was advised this style looks better than an old fashioned mohican (and prob get away a bit more wearing a suit to a meeting;) )

If you go for a lighter colour like lime green then if you get bored or fancy a change then the temporary gunk like blue or purple works better in it than if you had a darker colour.

I'm thinking about the bottle of peroxide under the sink.....but I've had too much ginger tonight!
