Hi

Just spotted this on me underside.

Can anyone give me an idea of fix and approx to do so.

Still learning what goes wrong and tackling it when they do.

hi just looked in paddocks book if its the front diff seal thats split it costs 1.60 plus vat and the part number is ftc5258 and if you need the gasket that is 53p and the part num is 7316 if its the rear diff there is 2 types by the book diff seal for 4 bolts is 98p part num frc8220 or if its for the 3 bolts it is 1.60 part num ftc5258 but those part numbers are the same if you order it from the main dealerobviously the price will change though hope this helps

Also a good idea to check your axle breather is clear while your under there. :wink:

Thanks for you help. Hows about the fitting thereof. Is it  hard or easy. I have fitted a snorkel and diff guards so that is my level.

Is it dripping on the drive yet?  if not there's no big hurry, on a dusty car it looks far worse than it really is.

Mine looked the same as that.
I left it.
2 months later my rear diff went pop.
Fix it asap or pay the price later
