Burglar nabbed.........
« on: April 28, 2006, 19:56:53 »
My garage is at the back of my house ,also my caravan is parked up at the back aswell,I was working in the garage about midday, and the wife brought me a sandwich up, as I was eating it she came back to the garage and said, somebody is in the caravan ,Youre joking I said, no the windows open and somebody stuck there head out, so I grabbed a bar and headed to the caravan ,I banged on the side and heard a voice, I opened the the door and there stands a scrote about 20 yrs old ,so in I go, after a few questions , I thougt ring the police, WHACK I changed my mind , if they d have come a lot of questios ect and he d have probably been told  off, so i thought he best have some good old fashioned Knuckle which he got, god my hands hurt, I sent him packing with a few cuts bruises and a thick lip, just got to hope no comebacks , dont know whether I have done the right thing but what would the police have done ?

Good man!
Ever thought of standing as a local Counciller?, if your solution to theft was well known locally, you'd end up as Mayor :D

I keep a 3 D-cell Mag-Lite by the bed, just in case the power goes off

However, if I hear any strange noises & don't want to scare 'Mr Burglar' (& receive a claim for trauma) if the Dog doesn't go for him first
I can come downstairs with it & if happen to trip & 'accidentally' hit him on the head several times with it, well it was just that; an accident

Well done. And at the end of the day you were acting in self defence. But if he comes back i was told by a policeman to drag a burgler upstairs and throw him out the window. and then call the police and tekk them you corneard him in the bedroom and he jump. its your word against his and the police will take your side. or at least thats what he told me :D

Good on you.  =D>  =D>

BTW don't threaten to hit them or find an object. as that is considerd being a premeditated attack. so therefore you are in the worng. If you just hit the little sod without any question and being ' Provoked' then he's in the wrong and you don't get done for assult.  :o

You should have sued him for hitting you repeatedly in the knuckles with his face ;)

Well done you, I know the law says we can't - but break into my pub and me and the dog will make you wish you hadn't. There's a line and if the legal system can't or won't enforce that line then we as citizens must.

Who says it has to be a big dog? Ours isn't big, but she's loud, mad and easily pee'd off, and it's not a good combination.

I don't think our police force think any differently from us. Your average copper would sympathise with your actions, no doubt they would like to give a few cracks over the head to criminal scum bags but they are hampered but the nanny state laws.

If you are a police officer good on yer. (not including specials the wannabe robocops who get on my tit)

ps . specials do a cracking job, i won't do this job, face all the abuse being spat at, sworn at, beaten up and not get paid...
