All stickered up (and a few other jobs)
« on: May 03, 2006, 08:37:39 »
To get her ready for  Y Rali Bryn Cymru, the donkey and I went to Gaydon on a mission to acquire the all important Mud Club stickers for Mathilda the racer. The mission was sucessful, along with purchase of heaps of other bits and pieces.

So she now looks right, just need to make my driving impressive enough to get her onto the TV coverage or into the mags.
Other little jobs have also been carried out. Well fitting the plumbed in fire extingusher wasn't really a small job.

4 litre FIA spec, with 4 outlets and 3 pulls, the outlets look a little out of place in tha cabin being about the only clean bit at the moment.

We also got round to fitting the peli case so that we can keep important things clean and dry.

Much of the work was supervised by Katy.

There are a few more jobs to do but we are on the homeward stretch now, The front wings are even attached to the rest of the car now.

Better get on with stuff, only a couple of days left.

Regards

Wolfie

Cheers guys, we'll keep a lookout for you as well as 'The Moo'.

The KISDA crew are mostly on finish timing (although I'll be manning a radio point as well) - watch out for the Nessie Hats  :(bigwicked):
Vulture 19, MM0SPL
1976 101 Ambi/Camper - MORPH - Still undergoing refit.
1979 SWB Series III - 'The Landie' - New parabolics & shocks to be fitted.
1990 Rangie Vogue 3.9 - Morph's new engine?
Niva Cossock - Storage shed!

Definitely echo that.   Thanks guys, see you there.  If I can let go of the wheel for long enough, I'll give you a wave!

Just watch out though, motorsport is addictive and virtually all of us started by just going along to watch and marshal - and look where that got us!

I think we're all camping at the hall.

If you're not careful, I'll have to dig out the cow hat!

Echo Eeyores thanks to all who are giving up their time so we can play in the countryside.

Also echo Henry's warning. It only took one person to come on here and ask for help marshalling on the Hillrally 2004 and now look where we are.

We will be camping at the hall.

See you all there.

Regards
