How would you...
« on: May 10, 2006, 20:33:44 »
Go about rescuing a poor neglected series?

Spotted one as I took a Detour into work this morning, took another drive past it a little while ago. I can only tell its not a series one but its an old M reg. Parked half into a bush, tires are all flat and genrally looks very sad for itself.

Not sure what I would say if I knocked on the door or how much to offer them for i if they say they are open for offers.

Any ideas?
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

I would find the owner first. Then have a good look aroung it to see if its worth saving.

Its on the owners driveway, crowded out by four other cars. :)

Walked past it on the way to work for a while and it was definatly unloved and had been standing for a while. I got too curios one day and went and asked, glad I did, got a Landy for 400 quid  :D

At worst they can say no!!

I know of two landies parked outside two different properties that need to be rescued. One is a SII swb and the other a S3 station wagon.
Both are turning green.

Well I think this is green to start with.

I might wander over next week and have a word.
If its up for grabs and out my range I'll get more info & pics and post it up.
