Been looking to replace SWMBO Ford Focus estate, she quite fancies a Freelander station wagon, though I have tried to persuade her round to a Discovery 300Tdi, purely because I have a TD4 and would like to have a motor which I could have a little more fun in, you know what I mean    , though I have had a lot of fun green laning in my TD4.

I'am not sure is the ES or GS the higher spec model :?: She has already driven her old man's Disco 300Tdi and likes it though, she thinks it is a little too big for her, how can I persuade her to change her mind. :?:

Any comments would be helpfull.

Sounds good, though the TD4 has only 2 seats and we have a 5 year old going on 15 and a 2 year old going on 5.

I have looked into getting a folding bench seat though its a bit pricey and don't know how the taxman would react to the extra seats as its classed as a commercial on the books :?

The Freelander body on Disco chassis sounds interesting

Cheers

Looking forward to it Schuee, took the freelander out last weekend on some easy ones - just cleaned it. Perhaps you can bring your new disco next time

Hey you know what I just realised.....the disco is actually the same size as a mondeo except for the height so why not try to sell her on it that way......infact my hubby can drive the disco much better than he can drive the mondeo
