nah ive seen how much steering guards impair offroad performance! any deepruts and it picks the front up and then you have no traction on the front, i'll stick with seriously bending my first steering arm in 25yrs off offroading and just carry a spare, its 2 bolts and thats it!
I used to suffer bent steering arms all the while, try pushing the standard arms through some gas tube, leave the gas tube a couple of inches shorter than the arm (so you can get the clamps on) and just weld the ends up. This idea worked for me i aint bent one since and its a lot cheaper than buying the "proper" reinforced items.
You dont happen to know the threads on the ball joints, do you?? Only ive got to change mine for the mot, and i could make some HD steering arms.. Thanks Chaps
