is it possible to convert the rear brakes on a sj by using discs, hubs and capilars from a front axle?

Cheers

Pass I havvent even found the handbreak yet ;)
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

The zook doesnt run a floating axle like a landy, it uses a non floating, where the rear wheel is physically attatched, and supported by the half shaft and thus there is no-where to fasten a front hub to the rear. there has been some success with Subaru bits(for some unknown reason), and there are kits available. The Yanks(as usual) have gotten there already and can supply conversions.
You can get a rear drum, machine most of it away, use this to fit a front disk sandwiched between the remains of this drum and the rear wheel, then Fab up a caliper mounting bracket to bolt to the end flange of the axle.
Using a transfer case with the parking brake built in, this will give a working rear disk conversion.........
Go on....cut me in half........it says SUZUKI all the way thru the middle!!
