There's no little glass strip (knob) on the sliding window pane, so you've nothing to slide the glass with??  

Edit:
Have you been rebuilding your door tops....
Actually, looking at it again... have you fitted the sliding piece of glass the wrong way round, so the little glass knob/strip is at the back of the glass.... not the front??

I saw a pic of a NAS 90 done for the south african market and noticed it was painted to the old series 3 pattern (door tops same as the side panel) and decided to give it a bash.
In the process of removing the old door tops (needed sanding down anyway cus of all the bubbles) I sheared a bolt off each side so had to go for new door tops anyway. £15 for unglazed or £46 for glazed. Guess which one I chose and why the damn window is in the wrong way round. :oops:
