I'm heading home next week
« on: June 02, 2006, 01:52:14 »
Hi everyone

I'm heading home from the Land Down Under next Friday. :D

For those of you who don't know, I've been out here since late November last year.

I've had a great time here, but I've missed one thing more than anything else.

I'll let you all guess what that is (and no, it doesn't have two legs)!

I'm in Brisbane at the moment.  So far, what I've seen of the country, I like.  I could be tempted to emigrate myself in the not too distant future (home is near Manchester - England) :D

Yep, that's Brisbane.

The temp should be about the same too! (winter Down Under and summer Up Over)

Keep guessing as to what I'm missing most. The beer here isn't too bad. I am missing a good English pint, but I can cope with what's on offer.

Why would I miss rain!!!!!?????  When it rains here, it rains properly - no rain for 6 weeks, then 5 inches in 24 hours.
