Now its No.2!!!! ***NOW WITH PICTURES ***
« on: June 06, 2006, 16:39:26 »
Well just had to do some SERIOUS creeping - because on saturday I become the owner of an S plate 109" 2.25 petrol!!
Guy we work with (work in the loosest sense of the word!) brought it last year to tow his caraven - which to date he has done Once...so he is now fed up of looking at it, and his wife wants shut - so I offered him an amount - and he accepted...:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Needless to say it wont be here long, mainly because I only want the overdrive out of it...and maybe the front seats.. so with the bits replaced with the ones from the widow the 109 will probably be sent on its merry way asap!!
looks a tidy motor, 109 blue van sides cloth front seats overdrive, petrol engine 750's.. needs about £50 spent on it for the MOT (maybe less as the guy that MOT'd it hadnt done a landy before )
So if anyone is after a tidy 109 , or even panels and an engine then give me a shout after the weekend... I'll post pics when I have them..

drives REALLY well, has a K+N fitted, paintwork a little dull (but heh its a landy)overdrive works a treat - and doesnt whine..has had new door on drivers side and door tops on both..BONUS!
so far think i'll be having overdrive - seats maybe doors (not decided yet) but if i do then the 90 doors will be going on the 109..
needs a few niggling little jobs, spring bush, 1 or 2 little patches (out rigger and rear cross member) and I think thats about it!

Do you know whether the FWH are 10 or 24 spline, and how much would you be looking for for the FWH, front light guards and front shackles.
Land rover series 3 (Old-Man-Emu shocks, overdrive, 90 wheels+Colway A/Ts, Paddocks parabolics)

1.8 petrol Freelander (standard)
