well got a nice run tomorrow.. from our yard up to dumfries!!
so long day and a 3am alarm call... :shock:
so if you see this  J T Payne scania 94d on the M6 runing north give me a toot and a wave.. and a cup of coffee if were by a services  :wink:

We are 15mins drive inland from berwick upon Tweed, on the Scottish side of the border.

Last time I went to Dumfries was the day after me and Mrs J were married in Gretna Green (twice in one day  :o )

the Warrior APC was a load i delivered last week.. i was taking 3 bins of tractor tracks today!
734 kms, 12 hours and a bloody sore arse!!!
9 1/2 hours driving out of a possible permited 10.. 1 cock up and its a night out!!!!
averaged out at 15.59 Mpg.. which aint too bad for a 9 litre turbo chraged engine dragging about 14 1/2 tonnes
(better than some V8 Range Rovers :D:D:D:D:D )

Better than my Dads 12.6 Daffodil, that'll only do 9mpg loaded, but it does have 32 tonne to lug about.
