Becks was feeling ill and was sick on the pitch near the end of the game. What a performance considering!

Still think we're going to have to up our game massively to compete with, let alone beat portugal though

come on england!

He's been ok but I think not at his best (personally I think he's the best midfielder out there by far) & he's got alot more to offer. Also Lampard (couldn't finish for toffee today) & Joe Cole have alot in reserve. Our defence is IMHO the best in the world (followed closely by the Italians), so its not all doom & gloom, I think we have a pretty good chance of beating anyone as no-one has really seemed unbeatable!!!

Joe cole is good but if he just played football instead of showboating all the time doing pointless stepovers when the nearest defender is 5yds away he'd be far better imo.

Robinson hasn't had the best games so far looks a bit unsure and flappy on set pieces, but i reckon ashley cole is one of the best left backs bar non he's speed down that flank is truely awesome

Yes, I never realised Robinson could be so dodgy on set piece crosses, he is a real flapper (good shot stopper though!)

Suprised Lump-it , oops, meant Lampard hasn't been mentioned.... Scuffed yet another shot or two at goal..... How can one player manage to MISS so many chances. By the rules of average he has gotta actually score soon.... or at least get one on target.....

Anyone reckon we'll see the 19yo play then ???? :)

He won't play. No way. If S.G.E. was going to play him, it would've been in the earlier games. So it begs the question.............
