Plastic sill rivets
« on: June 25, 2006, 21:39:12 »
Would any of you know where I can buy some of the plastic rivets (Rokut Rivets ?) that are used to secure the plastic sill on a 300Tdi, they are the type that has the pin driven in thro' the centre that then expands out the back of the rivet. I took my sills off to do some minor repairs and the pins finished up in the box section, hence I need new rivets. Either a web address or postal address would be great.
Thanks very much.

Local main dealer is the obvious place...?  Other than that try any of the parts suppliers like Brookwells, they'll stick some in the post.

Do Brookwells have a web page do you know?
I was trying to avoid main dealers 'cos of main dealer silly prices, however I may be forced that way.
Thanks again

I think you will get them from beamach, if they are the same as the ones that hold the plastic strip between the rear bumper and body work
