Bulkheads??

How different are the different years of bulkheads.

Like how easy would it be to fit a 200/300TDI bulkhead into an early N/A diesel 110??

Straigh swap. I fitted a brand-new (late) 300TDi bulkhead into my ex-MOD 2.5NA D and it was simple, I can't remember having to drill even one additional hole.

The TD5 ones are very similar aswell, form memory, I think it was only a case of drilling one hole & swapping the wiper motor bracket. :D

I put a TD5 on my 1984 110. No probs. Just had to make 2 small bulkhead blanking plates. Either side of the fuse box.

300 tdi and td5 have a different gearbox tunnel due to the r380 box. You would have to do some minor trimming to the bulkhead but your tunnel would fit with a few new holes drilled. The basics are the same.

I really wouldn't bother trying to find a decent S/H one as you would be hard pressed to find a really decent one that age and as previously stated, the new one which costs only £200 will fit without problems.

If they are the two holes I am thinking of I had them as well and a genuine part rubber-gromet is available & very cheap (about £1).
