Is there any way of one person insuring two cars without it costing an arm and a leg?

NFU do 2 cars on one policy.  And also the crap people spout about it being just for farmers and those in rural areas is crap, they do insurance for anyone now.

Hi Lee

Direct Line, Admiral & several other companies have started doing 2 cars on one policy.

Andy is about to add the Corsa onto his LR insurance

Interesting to hear that you can now get multiple car policies, I've been looking for one for ages.  The insurance companies seemed to have given up on them of late, so its good to hear that they might be coming back.  I'll hold my breath though!  I can only drive one car at any given time so it should have a reflection on how much my policies are over a number of cars!

James, which NFU office do you use or is it just the national number? I've not had much luck with them in the past due to having a 1" suspension lift on the Disco

I am with the NFU, 2 inch lift, converted to Auto and a 200tdi. Winch fitted as well. Not a problem.

I have found with NFU that you have to speak to the local office's rather than the head office - interestingly enough, according to their head office,  I shouldn't have been insured with them for two years even though they happily took lots of money off me.

I got a quote from NFU last week, they were only interested in performance enhancing mods.

However the quote was almost twice the amount that Adrian Flux quoted me.
