Not seen any for sale but Shed on Pajero UK has got them made up for Pajeros - sure he could sort something for a Pinin.

Sorry this is going back some time but just spotted this query from July!

Did anyone manage to find anywhere that does these guards/plates?  I've just had my "bash plate" taken off and bashed back into shape and thought it might be an idea to get something a bit tougher!  Don't think they're designed for what I subjected it to this weekend!

If you managed to find a supplier anywhere, could you let me know.

Thanks very much.

Safety Devices did produce them for the racing Pinins, don't know whether they are still available.

Thanks - that's great.  Will do some searching and see what I can find from them.

Don't think the original will stand being reshaped too many times ...!

This is the one I made for my Pinin a couple of years ago. It is made from 6mm Aluminium and I had to pay an engineering company £20 to bend and drill it for me.

That looks more like it!  Thanks for that.

I used to work for an aluminium forming company - think it's time I paid them a visit!

Sorry for the slow response - I've not been on here for a while.

Gather you haven't got the Pinin now then?

Nope, I found that it didn't have enough ground clearance and there isn't a lift kit available so I now drive a modified Vitara.

I did wonder about that - the ground clearance isn't wonderful - and putting a thicker layer of metal under the car might mean it drags on the ground even more that it does at the moment!  And if it's too tough and doesn't give at all, I might end up dangling with my wheels off the ground!

Spose I'll just have to be a bit choosier about whose ruts I drive in - it's fine where it's not too deep ruts and is great at getting up hills.

Or maybe I need to get a new car ... hmmm
