ok i seen some post on here about electrice radiator fans, and some that realy got my attention where that you can fit other fans off others cars straight on to it!!!


i have a 1994 discovery 3.9 EFI V8  and would like to know what fan is best suited for my truck, i heard that a vectra SRI fits but what is needed

Nothing just a big relay and a switch and 27 amp wire...dont use less than a 40 amp relay either...they draw loads of cuppent when you switch them on

oh i knew how to get it wired up after installing it, but my main question was, how will the fan fit onto my disco and what is needed to fasten it on????


also what sort of other radiator fans will fit???

i used twin sierra fans on my 1980 v8 rangie if that helps ..fitted easy,it dropped into original holders at the bottom with just some metal strips screwed to the top panel and bent over the cowling and self tappered into place.i wired each fan up seperately as i found one was adequate for road use with the other use now and then when off roading.

Merc vans are about the right size, also Rover 600 series, take your pick really.
