P.C question

I have a question my p.c has a pc100 memory card in it and I have a spare pc133 card , can I put it in with the pc100 to double the memory. They are both 128mb.

yes it should be ok, ive done the same, but sometimes it might not recogise the total amount of memory.
you wont hurt anything by trying (i dont think)

Yes its safe to try, but not guarenteed towork. It should recognise both sticks and run them @ PC100 speeds, this doesnt always happen though with some more tempramental motherboards.

I tried it and it recognised it straight away  :D  but it kept crashing so I took it out again  :(

Ho hum, your only choice is to try and pick up some cheap off ebay, otherwise its not really an economical upgrade, in fact if you find you are struggling with CPU speed etc then its really time for a new motherboard, chip and ram...possibly hdd too as they all have a massive impact on overall speed and usability.

One thing to remember though, you only get one pair of eyes, so look after them and dont skimp on old/cheap crappy monitors, get a decent TFT and save your eyes the strain.
