And I'll prepare to be shot down in flames here, but dont you have to modify the axle breathers on a Disco to go wading ?

If you do towing a boat home with 50/50 oil and sea-water would have  fairly terminal results on things.

Nice to see that "the commander" is not trying to run up some anti 4x4 hype. :roll: . But thing the disco owner is a pratt of not at least saying thank you. If it was me and its was my fault the least i would do is say thank you and give them a donation

Nice to see at least a few pro 4x4 responses at least.  I particularly like mikeloafs replies, now I wonder who he might be? :D:D :wink:

Those sands can be pretty bad, I towed a vw gold out of some soft stuff last week, tide wasnt quite as far in then though!
