saw them a couple of time the first time around at Wembley Stadium... AWESOME.... we took my little bro who was about 14 at the time, and he still talks about slash standing on that big white piano playing the solo in 'november rain'..... he's 30 next year.......

I never got the chance to see them live   which is a big shame for me as I love knockin on heavens door....and they are one of my favourite bands...along with Led Zeplin, Iron Maiden and of course Queen...shame Freddie Mercury died though  :(

the only thing with gnr is their notoriety in the early days up till the use your illusion tours

since the split they risked losing their fans since people do get tired of axl's childish behaviour, no doubt the current lineup is good but its a shadow of its former self and i think i saw an interview somewhere with slash saying he will never go back.

besides velvet revolver are a sleazy rock classic!

then again i would say the same thing about metallica, no way is their current effort st anger is a match for the black album, the drums sound awful for a start and its not listenable in my mind

pity cos they are masters of it all live.
