Well No. 3 would be heat, therefore it would evaporate.

Let me ponder 1 and 2.

i May be wrong but is 3 cold, ice  takes up much more space and is less dense than water - hence it floats.

The cog is a point where a car / bike/ anything would be balanced. You can calculate it by weighing the vehicle then each wheel and adding some formulas...not that i could be bothered....according to Rolla this is normally found to be roughly where the cig lighter is - weird.

no 2 ...babel fish(on hitchhikers guide) or maybe computers as they use several languages

or maybe im completely wrong

1: Didn't know there was a town called gravity but the centre is probably the bit where the pubs are and people get drunk and fight on Friday and Saturday nights

2:Mathematics - it's one of those boring things that everyone understands and apparently is the basics of the universe (according to some guy called Nevil and his red parka jacket.

3: A very very thirsty person

1.what is the centre of gravity?.
It is the point within any given object where the effect of gravity is is equal within the object physical boundaries.
Quote from: "tomcat"
2.what unusual phenomenon is capable of speaking any language?.
Binary code, it is the most basic form of communication which is why when NASA launched the voyager spacecraft all marks and recordings are in binary

3.if a barrel of water weighs 20 pounds, what do you have to add to make it weigh 12 pounds
Height, as an object gets further away from the center of gravitational pull it weighs less.

Easy and not at all fun! :)
