Just got back from a meal for two..... £91:55p in the village pub.
She had some meal made with chicken.
I had scottish sirloin.

Both meals were minute (tiny)..... no side dishes of chips.... nothing, just drizzled with some fancy sauce.

Desert was some 3 day old choc cake with ice cream  .

How much is a steak meal in your area :?:  :?:  :?:

As far as I'm aware you only have to pay for what you believe the meal was worth... I stand to be corrected but in the back of my mind I feel sure that that is backed up by law... someone must know.... but I do know that I wouldn't have paid that much.... and damn the consequences..

Hope you didn't get indigestion !

Local pub does buy one get one free meals, and they are pretty good, they arent microwaved as i know the chef!

Me and ex go down there sometimes and can eat and have a pint each for £15

£91.55?????? erm I'd want the whole darn cow for that price - hooves, tail and all!!!

I could sit down to a nice (big) steak meal up here with all the timmings - side salad - roast potatoes or chips the full monty and it would only cost about £14.99

For the money you paid I'd wanna know the cows name and who its next of kin were too

This a favourite of mine..most pubs round Telford are ping pong microwave places (and the larger chain ones have (alledgedly  ) been done by environmental health..

There are only 3 I bother with cheapest is @£10 for 2 meals plus a couple of pints, other 2 you can clock up @ £30-40 for 2 meals and drinks but the food is excellent

The Old Bull & Butcher pub near me used to do a 64oz steak plus trimmings for £20. Finish it all (in a reasonable time) and they gave you a free pudding! It sounded like a good deal and the steak I got was a pretty hefty lump of rump. I tried to chew my way through the 4lbs of meat (+trimmings) but I never reached the free pudding stage!
