Thieving Scum

Today I was the victim of thieft,  :roll:  while delivering to a pub, my work bag was taken from the cab of the truck.

What does me in about is the thief was a somilain man standing at a bus stop outside the pub, I saw him there and noitice he had a pair of crutches, He was seen by security people in a DHSS office across the road taking my bag out of the cab and getting on a bus that had just pulled up.
  Then one of the security guys came over to tell us about the the thieft, and pointed at the bus which was about a 1/4 a mile down the road, I just shugged my shoulders and said he was welcome the the old gloves and bits of paper and the water bottle in the bag. Although there was a multitool and a swiss army knife in there I have others to replace them.

Why do it that what gets me,

He'd just got money from the DHSS, so why bother. After finihing the delivery myself and the driver did have a quick look for wher I though this Scum might be and if I had found him, I would not have felt bad about battering him with his own crutches. :twisted:

Call me stupid if you like but if he had just got money from the DHSS and they witnessed him doing it then they would be able to give the police his name and address and give evidence to prosecute.
In answer to your question "why do they do it" because the chances of getting nicked are nil if the police are not called and if you call them nothing is done so the chances are still zero.
The crazy thing is if you had your pet dog in the cab and it bit him then you would be prosecuted for keeping a dangerous dog and the dog would be put down.

Get the police to get the address. Then, the police will give you a crime number and you won't hear from them again, because a bag full of gloves is less interesting than al quaeda.

So then you ask the police for their file under the freedom of information act, stating that you want to bring a civil claim against the man concerned for the loss of your bag.

Once you have the name and address, put another post here .....

There lies the answer, I live in the "sticks".
However, we still have neighbours and other human beings, so I am looking at moving out to even more widespread sticks.....Get away from the humans, they can`t be trusted you know :lol:

Nice thought - BUT (sorry I have to throw a spanner in the works) you cannot be given data via the Data Protection Act or any other means which relates to another person - so - You can ask what information the Police hold on you, or what has been done in relation to a reported crime - BUT this data will be sanitised to remove reference to other people and other peoples addresses - Human Rights and Data Protection at work there you see, simply put unless the person has been proven guilty by law of the crime you are talking about (in which case you'd have found out in court) he or she is innocent and you cannot be provided with his or her details.

You can only pursue civil action against someone you know to have done something civilly against you - you cannot obtain details of a person you suspect from the Police or any other source.

some little **** tried to steal my 90 would mind but this person must of bein that stupid that my barrel was still ok but all the back door skin was ripped apart now i have to reskin it put the spare wheel carrier bac pluss the cheaqer plate but my brand new alarm was on the case so we had a brief meeting but thats another story :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Sorry to be negative in this situation but it is not lack of faith but past experience, I have had my car broken into and hundreds of pounds of equipment stolen from them on two occations in the last 5 years and both times call the police and both times been given a crime number and both times never been contacted again.
First time even got my MP involved who wrote me a very nice letter expressing his sympathy but I must understand that the police are very busy.
Not finding the low life who keeps helping them selves to my stuff that I have worked hard for

When the plod arrives (2 or 3 hours later) they would charge you with victimisation and entrapment and your psychotic friend with assault.

Doesnt matter if its of any value if the thieving scum touched anything of mine I would have to sort it.

Keep an eye open for him and offer to sell him somthing a bit dodgy but insist its down the alley out of site of the cameras....the rest is up to you, but the idea of him not being able to roll over in bed because of where his crutches have been placed is appealing :D

Crutches are probably only an excuse try and get video of him away from DSS office without them...put it in front of the right peeps and leave it to them. :roll:

Personally I would just kick the [PooPoo] out of him next time I saw him and b0110cks to the consequences....at least I would feel satisfied. :twisted:  :twisted:  :twisted:

I actually videotaped my neighbours kids (12 year olds ) sticking a knife in my tyres and doing other damage to my car and another neighbours car... when they saw me with the camera they ran home..all on tape. Police came two days later... saw the tape and dispite my protestations only went and had a "word" with them. This is the twelth similar incident with the same results and the asbo's on the kids have just been lifted. The family have been re housed twice for their own safety. I think the third time will be soon... :twisted: All the neighbours ... ALL.. up our road have done everything we can legally.... and there is a lot more to it than this outline..
My point is.. the police don't give a damn. If you want justice you have only one option... make your own... I do that now and its worked every time..we pay to be protected and get screwed instead....

Yup, you are right, you have to dish out your own justice when the authorities don`t want to know, they are only interested when somebody has been injured, or if they think a firearm is about.

Anything else is just not worth their while it seems :(

I too have been the victim (not for very long) of vehicle crime, always sorted it myself in the past.....It is nice to see a well executed plan come to fruition :lol:

Why should we have to lock everything up to stop low life from helping them selves to things that have nothing to do with them.

got a whole area of somalians not to far from where i live they make areas no go areas , they are descensitized and have no worries about sticking a knife in you , if found guilty of any crime they should be deported. oh and this is my opinion no offence to any somalians who might drive a 4x4
