Dealer Advice Anyone?
« on: August 21, 2006, 20:16:48 »
If you've been to the Defender forum recently, you'll (hopefully) have seen that M666MUD will be re-incarnated onto a 110 at some point in the not too distant (hopefully complete on the sale of the house on the 30th August...). I've got the forms now, just need a vehicle to attach it to. I don't think it'll suit the car!

I was planning to simply get another one from The Defender Centre down near Brum (Belbroughton, to be exact) as Marc was really good with the 90, and I know of a few other people that have been very happy with defender's they've bought from him. The problem is that as he deals with mainly ex-utility vehicles, most of them are white, and I don't want white (nothing against white, it's just not me). £1000 of respray saved would get me £1000 better base vehicle, or buy a few toys - or both!!!

So, I've been searching, and on the 'net (actually via eBay) I've found another "independent land rover specialist" which is not a million miles away, and who also seems to have the vehicle I'm after, in a colour I'd like, and more importantly at a relatively sensible price.

So, I'm looking for anyone that's had any dealings with Matt over at MRM Land Rovers (www.mrmlandrover.co.uk).

I'd prefer PM's (as no doubt would the mods...) if it's going to be negative experiences

Cheers

Ben

Good luck Ben, but I thought you'd already sourced one??

My 'Heritage' came from Silkstone 4x4
They're not a million miles from you (dependant on which side of Sheffield you are?)

They are just on the A628 at Penistone
