Size Matters
« on: August 30, 2006, 21:23:16 »
I'm on a Rant.............. Why cant I buy XXXL size clothes on the high street. I have in the past bought clothes from from M&S and the sports wear stores, but in the last week I cant find anything anywhere. Why have they stopped selling these sizes, when the papers and tv is on about how people are getting fatter.

Cheers.

On a similar point;

I was surprised last year when I bought a tour t-shirt from a vendor on  'E-BAy USA'
.
I ordered a 'Small' expecting it to still be (at least) the equivilant of our medium - large.
But not it fits, but it's not as comfortable as I'd like

Now that's surprising, given the average size of an American :lol:

We can get 3xl from our garment suppliers(up to 5xl in some sweatshirts and coats)  though the colour variety is usually very limited.
If I wanted a clever answer, I'd have asked a clever person!

I'm the other end of that scale
I struggle to find trousers with a 29" inside leg.
I blame my Dad.
He had short legs too.
