help!

been serviceing the disco, done everything, new brakes, full engine service, swivels the works ready for winter outings.

today i started to do the diff oils, transfer box and gearboz oils, that just leaves new exhaust mounts and get the handbrake to work.

done diffs and transfer box with ease, but where is the drain for the gearbox, the filler seems to be a 3/8 allen key taper plug half way up on the drivers side (correct?) is the drain the big bolt about 30mm ish also on bottom drivers side.

bit embarraing as i am a competent mechanic and skilled fitter but help is required to confirm - wish i had a haynes manual now

from memory the fille rplug should have a 1/2" suqare nut on it, unlessosmeone has goosed it and fitted a different one.

there should be a filter under the drain plug iirc

Thumbs, the big bolt is the drain plug and the filler plug is actually a T55 torx bit, not allen key.
