i need to get the screen changed cos it cracked cos of a stone
(small kid big stone)

but man in van brings one for a van not a bus so its about 40cm to short so now me thinks that they wont be able to supply the right one
and the crack is in line with the drivers seat and keeps growing :(  :(

do you not have glass cover on your insurance?

Good grief, were you driving when that happened? Could have been quite serious. As Hobbit said if you have cover on your insurance there should only be a small excess to pay and they will be able to tell you someone that can fix it. Hope you get it done ok.

I reckon it was the tree on the screen that caused the crack. :)

I am guessing it is an ex local authority vehicle.
I am guessing that maybe a call to the local authority vehicle dept. may be helpful......You are in Brighton, so they should be helpful.

Try a bus/coach scrapyard, there are a couple up this way.  Also try local bus companies as they keep older vehicles for spares in the back corners of their yards ;)
