Ive dropped a bit of a B££$%^
« on: September 07, 2006, 18:44:42 »
I have just put a 2" lift on my 82 RRC and have decided to change the disc's and pads, I removed the brake lines to put braided one on and had to change one of the pipes that runs to the master cylinder?

The clanger I dropped I did not label the pipe to know which pipe goes to which inlet as there are 2.

First of all does this matter? I hear the is a primary and secondary intake, if it does matter how do I know which one goes in what position.

Mark.

Cheers for that, but is does not help me to much, I have the lines in place by the calliper, I just don't know if it matters which way round they go, 50/50 I suppose.

And if I get it the wrong way on one a correct on the other will it make a difference?????

Only when the brakes f**k up.  IIRC the Primary circuit does not include the rear callipers.

Thing is they will work, when all is fine.  It's when it goes t!ts up you need them the correct way round.

No use me telling you that though as I can't remember for definite which way is right.  Mind on other things.
