Calling on the collective wisdom of the forum here.

Is a TD5 intercooler a good or wortwhile upgrade over a standard 200tdi intercooler?
Cheers, Nathan.

Neil i've now bought a td5 intercooler, and i'm interested to know how youre getting on fitting yours, which rubber or silicone hoses you need and how youve secured the intercooler to the car etc.

Guess what im asking for is any help and direction you can pass on to me.
Cheers, Nathan.

Did you check the surface area of the TD5 intercooler compared to the one you have fitted?
If it's about the same then you may not find there is much difference in performance.

You can just about see the size of the Allards intercooler I've got fitted to my 300 TDi in this photo.

This is supposed to be upto three times more efficient than the standard one.

why not go for something like the alisport kit  :?:
saves all the extra pumping as I think its just the same size but dont quote me on that

I checked the measurements before buying one and this was the information I got ,THEY ARE 24 INCH CORE 29 INCH OVER ALL ,9.5 INCH HIGH 2 INCH DEEP WITH 50mm OUTLETS.

Quick calculations are
STANDARD IC total size (width x depth x height) 221.61 inches
TD5 IC           total size (width x depth x height) 456.00 inches

STANDARD IC frontal area (width x height) 80.58 inches
TD5 IC            frontal area (width x height) 228.00 inches
Cheers, Nathan.
