can't remember the name of the program but robbie coltrane narrated it  all about v8's and big engines :D
the series the brothers from the 70,s only becuase it reminds me of all the family sat round the fire on a sunday night :)

I've got the book & some of the series on tape

The V8 episode sticks in the mind for;
The visit to the Don Garlits museum & firing up the Hemi powered Nuclear Warning Siren :lol:  :lol:
The gorgeous 32 deuce he's running about in


Diesels episode for;
The semi & his wranglings with the gearbox :lol:
The Big marine diesels

Steam for the Victoria Falls visit :D

Jets for his flight in a Meteor & the toasting Marshmallows in the afterburner :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

One of the satellite channels showed 'Alf Garnett' recently (post death of the 'Silly Old Moo')
That's the episodes with 'Marigold', the gay, black home-help

That's even though Eddie/'SnowFlake'(?) tended to come off worst, & their wives got along perfectly well

Space- above and beyond, it used to be on BBC2 about 10pm on a weeknight if i remember and i,ve never seen it repaeted anywhere yet :?
