does anybody in mudclub land know how to use jubilee clips instead of dislocation cones
Did somebody say MUD ?

They arent instead of, they are used to stop the spring dislocating.

yep...

split the clip so you have the winder mech on one end & the end witht he thread type bit onit

wrap the clip around the top coil of the spring & the spring platform of the chassis,then rejoin & screw it up tight


will have a browse n see if ive got a pic of how it should look

Make sure the lower spring retainers are in good condition otherwise you may find that the weight of the axle will just bend these and you'll dislocate the spring at the bottom instead of the top!  :wink:
